The highly decomposed body of a woman was found in an open place, which is under the control of military, near Suchitra bus stop of Bowenpally on Friday.
Forensic experts said the woman died nearly three weeks ago.
A military patrolling team found the body and alerted the Bowenpally police. A pair of footwear and two empty liquor bottles were lying nearby.
A case of suspicious death was registered and the sections of law would be altered based on the autopsy report, the police said.
