Constable attacked

A police constable working with Langer Houz police station was attacked by a man, who claimed to be an Army personnel, following a road accident on Saturday evening.

Heated argument

The police constable, Sunil, was going on a motorbike along with a relative when a man, who was yet to be identified hit his motorcycle at Langer Houz flyover.

“Heated arguments ensued between them after which the man hit the constable on head resulting in minor injuries,” the police said.

On a complaint made by Sunil, the police registered a case under Section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt) against the attacker.
