Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that All India Congress Committee (AICC) Rahul Gandhi is a bachha (child) and his behaviour in the Lok Sabha proved it.

Speaking to reporters here along with MLA Chinta Prabhakar and TRS district unit president Murali Yadav on Wednesday, Mr. Srinivas Yadav said that with Rahul Gandhi heading the Congress the party may not even retain the present seats.

“The Congress leaders are working under a baccha and they are criticising our Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Who is better engineer than Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao in the nation? He can tell where the water will in flow in each village and how it flows. Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao is ready for open discussion on irrigation projects. Is there anyone who can come for open debate?” asked Mr. Srinivas Yadav. He has alleged that a gang of thieves are joining hands and they are embarking a bus yatra again. Half of them are chief minister candidates, he commented

Referring to the proposed Pragati Nivedana Sabha on September 2nd, Mr. Srinivas Yadav said that about 25 lakh public would attend the public meeting and this will be a history. “Never before in India had any political party organised such meeting? We will explain the welfare measures like Rytu Bandhu, Rytu Bima, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bagiratha, Kanti Velugu and other schemes taken up by us,” he said adding that earlier it was only laying foundation stones for the projects whereas the irrigation projects in the state are nearing completion. He said that the Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao was a real farmer and that was why he was able to understand the problems of farmers and taking steps to address their problems.

Earlier in the day, the Minister has released fish seed in Mahaboobsagar tank and distributed cheques to beneficiaries under various schemes.
