Cong. signature campaign from November 3

The Congress party in Telangana will undertake a signature campaign to focus attention of the powers-that-be to the crisis in the agrarian sector that was leading to the new State fast acquiring the notoriety of seeing the highest rate of farmers’ suicides.

Addressing a meeting of the Kisan Khet Mazdoor Congress presided by its chairman M. Kodanda Reddy, the working president of the PCC Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that as a short-term measure, need of the hour was to waive farm loans at one go and sanction fresh to debt-stricken farmers.
