Committee on PRC discusses modalities

The high power committee, constituted for deliberating on the pay revision for government employees as per the 10{+t}{+h}PRC recommendations, met for the first time on Tuesday, and discussed the modalities for holding discussions with various stakeholders.

Officials nominated to the committee held an in-camera meeting under the chairmanship of the Special Chief Secretary to the government K. Pradeep Chandra, and arrived at the modalities to be followed for taking opinions from different quarters, officials informed.

Accordingly, all existing employee associations will be called for consultations. Lists of such associations representing various sections of employees are being obtained from the GAD for this purpose, an official revealed.
