Now, you could fix your appointment with the doctor at the click of a mouse. City-based Just In Nexus, an IT firm, has launched a website ( www.drappointment.in ) that provides the facility.
Patients can chose from a list of nearly 500 doctors in the city, from across specialities, Just In Nexus founder and CEO Nikhil Deshneni said.
To enable patients to take informed decisions, the website will provide the background information of doctors, Dr. Deshneni added.
“Patients will also have the option to rate doctors and their service. Once an appointment is fixed, patients will receive confirmation will through a mail and SMS. The website will also benefit doctors because it will act as a marketer for them,” the CEO said. Those without internet access can dial a helpline (1800-1200-108) between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
