CBSE class 10 results: 100% cheer for most schools

Several schools in the city logged 100% success in the CBSE class 10 exams, the results of which were released on Tuesday.

At HPS-Ramanthapur, all 163 candidates cleared the board exam with Anjali Raja Ram acing the charts with 95.4% followed by Sindhuja Reddy (94.8%). School principal Narsimha Reddy said 88% students secured more than 60% and 52% students were awarded distinction. Thanu Biswanth Baji, who hails from a poor rural family, scored 100% in math.

Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, also saw all of its 101 class 10 students passing the exam. Afrah Nyla stood first with 486 marks followed by B. Sowmya (482), Roshan Das (477) and Sanjana Srinivasa (477).

DDMS P. Obul Reddy Public School, too, recorded 100% results with all 205 students clearing the exam. Prachi Toshniwal, Naman Jain, Praneetha B. were school toppers with 96.6%.

Other schools to have achieved cent per cent results included Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kondapur, where 63% students passed with distinction. The school toppers were C. Greeshma (97%) followed by Bhuvana Sai (96.6%), Arzoo (96.2%) and Trisha Dev (95.8%). At DAV Public School, Safilguda, all 315 candidates got first class and 233 of them awarded distinction, said Principal K. Parthipan.

Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar, registered excellent performance with five students — A.V.R. Vishnu, Swomya Mani Madhavi, Prerana Jain, D. Bhavana and Mohd. Sufiyan scoring A1 grades. Kennedy High – The Global School had 168 students clearing the exams with the highest score being 486 marks.

The 11th batch of 489 students at Delhi Public School, Nacharam, logged 100% results with 82 centums in all six subjects and 93 students scoring above 90% aggregate. Himasreeja was the school topper with 98.2% followed by Bhuvana (97.6%), said principal Sunitha S. Rao.

Gitanjali Devashray, Secunderabad, once again came out with flying colours. Of the 116 students who appeared for the exams, 16 secured 10 CGPA, 36% got distinction and the rest, first class. B. Abhivarna and S.S.V. Aditya were school toppers.

Vignan Vidyalaya, Nizampet, achieved outstanding results with two students N. Harshitha and Smruti Biswal securing 492 out of 500. . Little Scholar School, Sanath Nagar, also achieved 100% pass rate.

From Jubilee Hills Public School, Gowri Tiwari stood first with 97.2% while Gogineni Vijaya Srikar, Sashwath Mukherjee and Pratisha Shukla stood second with 96.2%, said academic director G. Sree Devi and chairman A. Mural Mukund.

Narayana School students fared well with one in every two getting A grades. A statement said that 4,378 students scored A grade and two students, Ishitha Tyagi and Soham, secured 490 out of 500 marks. Over 283 students secured more than 90% marks while 90% of Narayana Olympiad School students secured A grades, said managing director P. Sindhura Narayana.

All 185 students of Army Public School, Bolarum, cleared the exam with Nikitha Pathania emerging topper with 98.4% followed by Paryetri Banerjee 97.6% and Tejika Bajaj 97.2%. Thirty students scored over 90%, said principal Smitha Govind.

Sri Chaitanya School-Techno Curriculum recorded impressive results with its students securing all-India top marks — Srivas (495), Sri Amshu (492), Bhavana P. (491) Subhan R. (490) and K. Yasaswini (490). Academic director Seema said 1,754 students secured A grades in maths and 1,650 in general science. The institution recorded 100% results in 30 branches, she added.
