Candidate gives away balloons to tribal children

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for Adilabad Assembly constituency Payal Shankar gifted balloons to Adivasi children of Chichdhari-Khanapur village in Adilabad rural mandal where he campaigned on Tuesday. The orange coloured balloons had his party symbol, lotus flower and his name imprinted on it in addition to a request to vote for Mr. Shankar.

Mr. Shankar accused his TRS rival Jogu Ramanna of hindering setting up of a mobile tower in the village. He also accused the TRS leader of sabotaging establishment of Tribal University in Adilabad district.
