Booking Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses for private events such as school excursions just got easier. For, the transport behemoth on Saturday launched the ‘Bus on Contract’ service to enable its clients to book a bus online. It will be operational from August 22.
With this service, it will no longer be necessary for TSRTC’s clients to travel to the nearest bus station and book a bus after paying cash. Clients can now make the booking online, on TSRTC website (www.tsrtconline.in). They will have to specify the type of service they require, the pick-up and drop-off points and the time of the journey. A bus will arrive at the desired location to pick them up.
TSRTC officials opine the service will increase efficiency and transparency, and reduce the time taken to make a booking.
