Bollaram police rescue kidnapped boy

The IDA Bollaram police rescued a boy kidnapped by a woman and was handed over to the parents. According to Inspector Ch. Satish Reddy, on July 25 one Manish Giri came to police station and lodged a complaint stating that his son Kallu (4) was missing since July 24 morning. IDA Bollaram police registered a case and took up the investigation. Verified the CC camera footages at Chanda Reddy Complex where the child played till 12 noon and went missing.

On the same day at the same time Rekha, wife of Sunil Kumar, a native of Bihar and resident of Chandra Reddy Complex, also went to her mother’s home in Chapra district of Bihar. On suspicion, Sunil Kumar questioned Rekha and confirmed that Rekha had taken the boy along with her. Rekha along with the missing boy, who came from Bihar, was arrested at on Tuesday at Secunderabad railway station and brought to police station.

The boy was handed over to his parents. Rekha is being produced in a court.
