Bid to loot two ATMs

Burglars made a vain bid to steal money from two ATMs at Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday night. The miscreants first entered into the ATM located near Pallavi Gardens and tried to break the cash dispensing machine with the help of an iron rod. However, the offenders fled after few persons noticed them and raised an alarm. Later, they attempted to burgle another ATM near Janapriya Homes in the same area. The police obtained visuals recorded by (CCTVs installed in the ATMs and are trying to identify the offenders. – Staff Reporter
