Telangana Legislative Council Chairman and other dignitaries participated enthusiastically in the Bathukamma celebrations organised at Washington DC on Sunday under the banner of the Telangana Development Forum.
Those present included president of the Forum Vishweswar Reddy, MP Balka Suman, MLC P. Rajeswar Reddy MLC and Principal Secretary-Planning, B.P. Acharya.
Mr. Swamy Gowd lauded the role of NRIs in the struggle for Telangana and urged them to actively take part in the reconstruction of the State and achieve the goal of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ (Golden State).
