B. Chandrasekhar passes away

Assistant Regional General Manager-Advertisement of the Visakhapatnam office of The Hindu B Chandrasekhar died of a massive heart attack here on Monday. He was 44 and is survived by wife B. Sujatha and two daughters Sruthi (15) and Shivani (13). Mr. Chandrasekhar who came here to attend a family function, went to meet his colleagues in Hyderabad office where he collapsed suddenly. He was rushed to a nearby hospital after first aid, but the efforts to revive him failed. The funeral will take place in Hyderabad on Tuesday afternoon. eom photo_ arranged

B. Chandrasekhar, Assistant Regional General Manager, Advertisement, The Hindu , Visakhapatnam, died of a massive heart attack here on Monday. He was 44 and is survived by wife B. Sujatha and daughters Sruthi, 15, and Shivani, 13.

Mr. Chandrasekhar, who came here to attend a family function, collapsed suddenly in The Hindu office, where he had come to meet his colleagues. He was given first aid and rushed to a nearby hospital, but all efforts to revive him failed. The funeral will take place here on Tuesday afternoon.

A postgraduate in economics, Mr. Chandrasekhar joined The Hindu in 1994, after a brief stint with The Times of India , Visakhapatnam. Known to be an affable and soft-spoken person, he mixed easily with other staff members.
