Award for L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad

L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRH) has announced that its chief executive and managing director, V.B. Gadgil, has been conferred the “Infrastructure Person of the Year” award in a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, during the Fifth Construction Week India Awards.

L&TMRH was also awarded the “Upcoming Metro Rail Project of the Year”.

The Construction Week India Awards recognise and reward achievements of the best in the construction and infrastructure business.

The fifth construction week awards received 350 entries from 31 cities for 18 categories. Besides, there were nine special awards.

Maharashtra’s Housing, Mining and Labour Minister Prakash Manchubhai Mehta was the chief guest. “Upcoming Metro Rail Project of the Year” was also contested by Chennai Metro, Jaipur Metro, Rapid Metro & Mumbai Metro.

“These awards are feathers in the cap of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited & Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. Such awards reinstate our commitment to the project and the people of Hyderabad. These accolades inspire all the people working on the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project in a significant manner.”
