Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, launched its award winning new model A7 sportback in the city on Friday. With two bookings already in hand, Audi hopes to sell 10-15 A7s in the city in next few months, Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, Audi Hyderabad said.

A7 sportback, which costs Rs. 65.14 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, was unveiled at a press conference, by Anil Reddi, Head of Sales, Audi India along with Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi.

Mr. Anil Reddi said that the five-door executive sports coupe, with a dynamically designed roofline, is targeted at individuals who seek the luxury of customisation and a sense of freedom. He also said that launch of the new model is in line with Audi’s top down strategy. Audi launched Audi A8, costing Rs. 78 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, earlier this year.

He also announced that in continuation of this strategy Audi A6, which might be priced around Rs. 38 lakh, will be launched later this year. Audi has captured 30 percent of the luxury car market in Hyderabad, he said.
