A website for the Atal Incubation Centre was launched at Centre for Celluar Molecular Biology (CCMB) here on Friday.

The incubation centre was launched last year to support start-ups in the field of biotechnology and life-sciences. The centre’s website was launched by D. Yogeswara Rao, Former Adviser, Office of PSA to Government India. CCMB Director Rakesh Mishra was also present.

“The AIC website will be a platform for giving the public an idea of the work done by biotechnology and life sciences start-ups. Innovations in life sciences are critical to improving the quality of life for the entire nation, especially for early detection of diseases and bringing down costs of healthcare. The website features information about facilities, mentors, partners and the companies incubating with us. Also, prospective incubatees can directly download application form or get in touch with us via the website,” said the incubation centre’s CEO, N. Madhusudhana Rao.
