Another case of swine flu

One more case of swine flu has been reported in the city.

Of the 20 people that were tested for the H1N1 virus on June 1, one was found to be positive, a release from the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department said.

Of the 11,115 samples tested since August 1, 2016, as many as 1,518 were found to be positive. The death toll due to swine flu and related complications stood at 22 so far.

Assuring sufficient stock of medicines at all teaching, district, and area hospitals, the release said the Institute of Preventive Medicine was providing free testing services to all patients from private hospitals.
