AgriGold depositors stage protest

May 06, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:40 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Several investors and agents of AgriGold Projects Limited staged a protest in front of the company’s office at Punjagutta here demanding that the company pay back their money.

The protesters charged that although their deposits had matured the managements failed to pay them the money. Cheques issued by the company to a few depositors also bounced, they alleged.

Braving the sweltering heat, about hundred depositors gathered in front of the company and staged a sit-in. A few brought along with them their children. Elderly people were also present in a sizeable number.
