Engineering, medical aspirants stand to benefit as they can interact with academicians, experts

The Hindu Education Plus in association with Vignan Engineering Colleges is organising ‘Career Counselling sessions' for students who have appeared for EAMCET and seeking admission into engineering and medical courses.

The sessions will be held in Tirupati, Warangal and Vijayawada on July 25; Anantapur and Rajahmundry on July 28; Kurnool on July 30 and Hyderabad, Guntur, Vishakapatnam and Nellore on August 1. The sessions will be of extreme use to students and their parents as they get to interact with eminent academicians and subject experts on the courses they should choose, the future prospects of the courses and the skills required to study a particular course.

Session timings

The sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Entry is through registration and registration fee is Rs. 100. The participants will be given a 150 page handbook consisting of articles on different subjects written by academicians.

Venues

The sessions will be held at Tirupati (Mahati Auditorium), Warangal (National Institute of Technology Auditorium), Vijayawada (Tummalapallivari Kshetrayya, Kalakshetram), Anantapur (RDT Ecology Centre), Rajahmundry (Hotel River Bay), Kurnool (Collectorate Complex), Hyderabad (Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam), Guntur (Sri Venkateshwara Vignan Mandiram), Vishakapatnam (Port Kalavani A/c Auditorium) and Nellore (Haritha Andhra Pradesh Tourism Hotel).

Colleges will also set up their stalls at the Hyderabad centre to provide information.
