Telangana-Kerala Heritage fest from Feb. 25

Kerala Tourism, Cultural, Archaeology Department officials and film artistes would attend the three-day Telangana-Kerala Heritage Fest to be organised at the Lalitha Kala Thoranam from February 25.

Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Ajmeera Chandulal and Kerala Culture Director Benjiman released the festival brochure here on Wednesday.

Mr. Chandulal said the heritage festival would pave the way for creating cultural troupes between the two States. The Language and Culture Department formulated an action plan for the same this.

Telangana recently hosted the Jammu and Kashmir festival on a grand scale and this festival would bring cheer to Malayalis living in the State, he said.

Apart from various cultural programmes, the heritage festival would see quiz competitions and a food festival.
