Science Express to chug into stations from April 15

Science Express, the mobile exhibition-on-train sponsored by the Government of India, will be on display from April 15 to 28 at various stations of the South Central Railway.

The express will halt at Ramagundam from April 15 to 17, at Secunderabad from April 18 to 21, at Guntakal from April 22 to 25, and at Dharmavaram from April 26 to 28, a press release from the South Central Railways said on Thursday. Entry is free and exhibition will be on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

The train with 13 fully AC coaches will have exhibits on subjects such as the big bang, nano cosmos, building block of life, gene to organism, architecture of the mind, world of senses, technologies of future, climate change, global challenges, spaceship earth and others.

This is part of Phase-IV of the Science Express during which it will halt at 56 railway stations for public view, the press release said.

Visitors are not allowed to carry mobiles, camera, bag, match box, cigarettes or beedis, tobacco, water bottles, or sharp objects, it said.
