The government on Tuesday transferred six Deputy Inspector Generals of police and gave them new postings.
The Karimnagar DIG N. Chandramouli was posted as Chief of Marine police replacing K. Srinivas Reddy who was posted as Additional Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau.
On transfer, ACB Additional Director, A. Ravishankar Ayyannar, was posted as Karimnagar DIG. N. Balasubramanyam was shifted from Vigilance and Enforcement to the Intelligence wing replacing P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu. Mr. Anjaneyulu was transferred to Andhra Pradesh Special Police battalions. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat was transferred from Crime Investigation Department and posted as DIG of Eluru.
