HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Medical Council has set September 30 as the last date for renewal of registration for all candidates who have registered their primary medical qualification — MBBS or its equivalent — on or before December 31, 2009.

Late fee would be levied for applications received after the last date, and the decision of the council would be announced shortly. The late fee would be displayed on its website.

Registration of members who fail to apply for the renewal, even after the date for doing so with late fee, would be liable for termination, and they need to apply afresh for re-registration, council chairman E. Ravindra Reddy said in a press release.
