Hyderabadi student killed in America

A student from Hyderabad pursuing post-graduate programme in United States of America a was killed by three unidentified persons while he was working in a gas station at Bridgeport city on Tuesday, according to information reaching here.

The student was identified as Arun from Jaffarguda of Karvan. Arun was at the gas station when three strangers drove in a car and tried to loot the station at gunpoint. The youth reportedly tried to resist them and was fired at by them. On learning about the incident, Arun’s friends came to his house but did not convey the matter immediately to his father, B. Rao, who is a cardiac patient.

Arun’s father Rao hailed from Bidar of Karnataka. He worked as Government school head master and settled at Hyderabad after retirement. Arun was youngest of the three siblings. He completed his schooling, intermediate and graduation in the city and went to the US two years ago for studying M.B.A.
