HMDA offers e-bidding

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to incorporate e-bidding platform on its revamped website for disposal of plots available with it.

According to a statement issued here, the new website (www.hmda.gov.in) has been operational from the last week of May and recorded more than one lakh site page views in the first month itself.

Now, the format of e-bidding platform for disposal of available HMDA plots for electronic bidding by the public would be made available from June 21., the release said.

The website also provides information on building applications, procedures for layout approvals and LRS/BPS apart from details pertaining to important projects taken up by the HMDA.

Other plans

Meanwhile, the HMDA is also planning to take up networking of the four zonal offices at Medchal, Shankerpally, Ghatkesar and Shamshabad for effective flow of information, the HMDA press release added.
