Dasari hospitalised

Ace film-maker Dasari Narayan Rao was hospitalised late on Monday after he complained of breathlessness.

Mr. Rao, also a former union minister in UPA government, was taken to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences where he is being treated. The hospital’s CEO, B. Bhaskar Rao said at a press conference that Mr. Rao had undergone a surgery and was under observation.

According to a bulletin from the hospital, Mr. Rao was put on ventilator and dialysis after he was brought to the hospital. Dr. Rao said that he will be under observation for the next 48 hours to 72 hours.
