Award for wooden cottages at Laknawaram

The wooden air-conditioned cottages at the resorts of Laknawaram lake in Warangal district bagged the most innovative product at the travel and tourism fair of M/s. Fairfest Media Private Limited held at Kolkata from July 8 to 10.

The District Tourism Officer of Khammam, Suman Chakravarthy, received the award from chairman and chief executive of Fairfest Media Sanjiv Agarwal, a release here said. The Tourism Department of the State government and the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation had jointly set up a stall at the fair which was inaugurated by West Bengal Tourism Minister Goutam Deb. He also visited the stall. The Fairfest Media will also organise a similar fair here from July 15 to 17 at Hi-Tex. Over 200 exhibitors from 20 States and five countries will participate.
