44 engg. colleges get full admissions and three zero

16,136 seats remain vacant

Three engineering colleges went without a single admission while only 44 colleges could secure 100% admissions, including 12 university colleges, after the final phase.

At the same time 19,866 seats remained vacant this year out of the 69,410 seats available under the Convenor quota for engineering and pharmacy courses. Out of the 19,866 vacant seats, 16,136 were from engineering colleges.

After the first phase, 32,592 seats were vacant but even in the final phase only 12,726 admissions were made. In the EAMCET, 1,02,348 candidates were declared qualified but only 62,372 students turned up for certificate verification in both phases.

Selected candidates have to self-report by logging into the website https://tseamcet.nic.in and report at the allotted college before July 31 or else their provisional allotment order automatically stands cancelled and the candidate will have no claim on the allotment.

It is mandatory to cancel the provisionally allotted seat to claim refund of tuition fee paid. After payment of tuition fee, if the candidate cancels the provisionally allotted seat before July 31 through online, 50% of the tuition fee paid will be forfeited in respect of private colleges and total fee in respect of university colleges.
