The South Zone Task Force apprehended four juveniles in connection with the theft of five two-wheelers.

According to the police, the juveniles, aged between 13 and 16 years, have been living on the streets of Miralam Mandi for over a year and came to know each other. Police said that in order to meet their expenses, they allegedly used to steal cash and cellphones from those who slept on the roads in inebriated conditions.

Later, they allegedly used to steal two-wheelers by unlocking them with duplicate keys and ride them away. After stealing them, the accused used to remove the number plates, police added.

Also, they used to identify shops with tin roofs, removed the sheets and climbed down to enter and steal cash and other items. The accused were said to have committed thefts at Dabeerpura, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Mangalhat and Rajendranagar. They were handed over to Dabeerpura Police. Police also recovered a laptop from them.
