Fourteen students fell sick after gases emanated in their school's chemistry laboratory at Tolichowki in Golconda police station area on Friday.

All the students rushed to nearby hospitals and are out of danger. Ten of them were sent to their respective houses after being treated at the hospital. The remaining four were kept under observation as they complained of breathing problem, the Golconda Inspector Qaleel Pasha said.

Gases emanated in the lab located on the first floor when a bottle of nitrous oxide fell on the floor. "Most of the students present in the lab were of sixth and seventh standards," the Inspector said.
