A beauty parlour employee has alleged that she was drugged and raped by a Noida-based houseowner in November 2015 when she was looking for a rented accommodation, the police said here on Monday.

The woman said she had gone to Parthla village looking for accommodation on rent. After she fell ill there, the accused took her to a hospital in his car. On the way, he allegedly misbehaved with her. When she objected, he put a piece of cloth over her face and she lost conciousness.

The woman claimed that on regaining consciousness, she found herself at Surajkund in Haryana. An FIR has been lodged at Noida Sector 39 police station and a manhunt is on, the police said.
