A 25-year-old woman was allegedly molested by a 48-year-old man and his son in Dwarka’s Dabri after an argument over parking, the police said on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said the accused, Jitender Sahni, and his son Dhiren, are residents of Mahavir Enclave.
“The woman, also a resident of Mahavir Enclave, said that she was coming out of the private parking lot near her house when the man and his son started an argument with her over parking,” the officer said.
The accused allegedly held her hand and threatened to teach her a lesson saying that he works in the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Both the accused misbehaved with the woman and based on her complaint, a case under Section 354A (sexual harassment), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered in Dabri police station, the police said.
During inquiry, the police said Jitender worked as a private supplier of goods in several ministries of the government.
