Woman booked for husband’s death

The wife and brothers-in-law of a mechanical engineer from Bulandshahr who had jumped in front of a train near Dankaur railway station in Greater Noida on December 15 have booked for his death, the police said.

The man (24) had posted on social media a video note, in which he accused her of having an affair. Blaming her for “embarrassing” his family, he accused her and her brothers of torturing his family.

The staff at Kakod police station in Bulandshahr have booked her and her brothers under Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC. “The video has been sent for forensic test,” said Investigating Officer Jayveer Singh.
