Water supply to be hit in South Delhi

Water supply in parts of South Delhi will be affected on Monday evening and Tuesday morning as the Okhla water treatment plant will be shut, the DJB said.

The shutting down of the 20 million gallons per day-plant will hit supply in Tughalkabad village, Tehkhand, Pul Prahladpur, Lal Kuan, Vishavkarma Colony, Sangam Vihar, Tigri, Devli, Nai Basti, Khanpur, Krishna Park, Raju Park, Kalkaji, East of Kailash, Garhi, Chittaranjan Park, Okhla Phase-III and IV, Okhla Mandi and adjoining areas.

Water tankers will be available at 26473720, 26449877 (Giri Nagar), 29819035, 29824550 (Jal Sadan), 29234746, 29234747 (Greater Kailash) and 1916 (Central Control Room).
