Water supply in south Delhi to be affected

Due to ongoing repair works

Water supply in large parts of south Delhi will be affected on Tuesday and Wednesday due to ongoing repair works, the Delhi Jal Board said on Monday.

Low pressure

Supply would be available at low pressure on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning due to bifurcation of the south Delhi mains as a part of the rehabilitation of the Sonia Vihar water treatment plant in Kailash Nagar, Sarai Kale Khan, Jal Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, Moolchand, Greater Kailash, Vasant Kunj, Deoli, Ambedkar Nagar, Panchsheel Park, Shahpur Jat, Kotla Mubarakpur, Defence Colony, Siddhartha Enclave, Sarita Vihar, Okhla, Dakshinpuri, Malviya Nagar, Deer Park, Geetanjali, Shriniwaspuri, Chattarpur and Lutyens’ Delhi.

Damaged main line

The Delhi Jal Board added that repair of a damaged main line at Jal Vihar would lead to no water supply from Tuesday till Wednesday morning in Bhogal, Nehru Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Nizamuddin.
