Wall collapse kills two in Saket

Two persons were killed after an under-construction wall in a basement collapsed in South Delhi’s Saket. The incident took place on Friday afternoon when the duo was working in the basement.

According to officials of the fire department, the wall collapsed around 3.45 p.m. and a call was made at 3.49 p.m. Three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot and the trapped persons were rushed to the nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced them dead on arrival.

Police said that the deceased persons have been identified as Tohseem (27) and Kara (45).
