Two arrested for robbery

Two men have been arrested for allegedly robbing people of their mobile phones in separate incidents in Amar Colony, the police said on Wednesday.

The police said they have solved eight cases of robbery and snatching with the arrests.

The accused have been identified as Deepak Kumar (22) and Sarvesh Saxena (23), residents of Tughlakabad Extension in Govind Puri, the police also said.

Bought liquor, ganja

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they used to rob peole of mobile phones and other belongings and would sell the phones to passers-by at throwaway prices to meet their needs of liquor and ganja.
