Breaking his silence over the disqualification of 20 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “truth ultimately prevails.”

The Election Commission of India (ECI) is learnt to have recommended to President Ram Nath Kovind that 20 AAP MLAs be disqualified on the office-of-profit charge. The President is bound by the Commission’s recommendation.

“When you are truthful and honest you will encounter many hurdles. This is only natural,” Mr. Kejriwal tweeted.

“But all the seen and unseen forces of the universe will help you. God will be by your side. History is witness that truth ultimately prevails,” he said.
