Gurugram district administration has allowed reinstatement of suspended acting principal Neerja Batra of Ryan International School in Bhondsi in another branch of the institute in Gurugram.
Ms. Batra’s reinstatement order was issued by the office of the deputy commissioner of Gurugram. It has given a clean chit to her for not having direct involvement in the death of a seven-year-old student. “After the death of the child, I am an administrator currently of Ryan International School, I have spoken to stakeholders regarding Ms. Batra. We have decided to reinstate her in school branch in Sector 40. Now it is the prerogative of the Ryan management to use her service,” Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Vinay Pratap Singh said. The boy’s parents were unhappy with the reinstatement of Ms. Batra.
