The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday mentioned in the Supreme Court its challenge against the Delhi High Court remark terming its May 21 notification as ‘suspect’. It said that the observations made by the High Court have left the equation between the Lieutenant-Governor and the Delhi government in ‘total uncertainty’.

The apex court has agreed to hear the challenge on Friday. The mentioning was made in the morning by additional solicitor general Maninder Singh who said that the High Court’s remarks have put everyday administration in the national capital in difficulty.
