‘Snatching case of PM’s niece solved in a day, why not others?’

Gopal Rai takes a jibe at the BJP saying they are hiding behind the mask of NRC

Taking potshots at the BJP for spike in crime rate in the city, AAP on Monday said if the police can solve a snatching case where the Prime Minister’s niece had been targeted, in 24 hours, then they should be able to explain why cases filed by commoners take time.

The party also demanded the BJP to bring out a white paper on the status of over 2 lakh cases filed in 2019 here, including murder and rape.

Addressing a press conference, AAP Delhi in-charge Gopal Rai said the BJJP is hiding behind the mask of NRC instead of finding a solution to the “increasing” crimes.

“I want to challenge the Center that please reveal how many Bangladeshis or terrorists of Pakistan are involved in these cases and if someone is committing crimes, why are they not arrested yet?” Mr. Rai said.

“Earlier, people used to say that ‘jungle raj’ is dominant in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh but now due to the miserable failure of the BJP, the same has become predominant in Delhi,” Mr. Rai said.
