Ravinder Kumar, the suspected serial rapist-cum-killer recently arrested by the Delhi Police, on Monday, confessed to his involvement in 20 other rape and murder cases.

The total number of such cases has crossed the 30-mark. “There is every possibility of many more such cases emerging,” a senior police officer in outer district said.

Of the 20 new crimes, he committed four rape-cum-murders in outer Delhi, taking the total toll in the police district to 10 so far.

Of the over 30 cases, sleuths said he has been able to point out the crime spots in around 20 of them.

Police will soon be taking him to Sector 74 and 76 in Noida where he allegedly kidnapped, killed and then raped two girls in 2013. Thereafter, he will be led to certain places in Badayun, Aligarh and other spots in UP and Haryana where he has claimed to have committed the crime.

Vikramjit Singh, DCP (Outer), had said that a brain mapping test on Ravinder would soon be conducted to detect what information provided by him is true. His psychological profiling too would be done.

The accused has allegedly claimed to have killed several of his victims, belonging to both sex, before sexually assaulting them. In some cases, he was not even aware he was having sex with a dead victim, said the police.
