‘Acing IAS Exams’, a college contact programme by The Hindu in association with Dhyeya IAS which started on Thursday, aims to provide students help from experts on how to prepare effectively for civil services examinations.
The event, which began on Thursday at Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida, will cover 10 colleges in New Delhi, Lucknow, and Allahabad. University Vice-Chancellor Rupamanjari Ghosh said, “The seminar on Thursday was good exposure for our students on how to prepare and compete effectively in the civil services examinations.”
Shweta Singh, a faculty member at Dhyeya IAS, said the most important factor before choosing civil services as a career is the reason behind the decision.
IRS Assistant Commissioner (C&GST) Raj Das said, “One does not require extraordinary genius to ace this exam, only consistency.” IRS Assistant Commissioner (Income Tax) Kalpesh Kavad said, “The UPSC gives you an opportunity to transform the system single-handedly.” The event ended with an interactive session with experts.
