The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday criticised the BJP and Congress on regularisation of unauthorised colonies in the city, saying that the Congress had distributed “false” provisional certificates and now the BJP will distribute “false” numbers from a website.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that before the 2008 election, Sheila Dikshit’s government had distributed provisional certificates to several unauthorised colonies. “At that time, it was promised that after the election, the colonies will be registered. But the Congress failed to keep the promise,” he said.

“Now the BJP-led Central government will open a website to fool people and they will ask all to apply on that website,” he added.

AAP Delhi convener Gopal Rai, said, “As per sources, the BJP has no intention of getting the registration done”
