At the Badli Mor station, which is being constructed under Phase 3 of the Delhi Metro project, the design elements for its future expansion under Phase 4 have already been incorporated. The structure of this new station – that will be the next stop after Jahangirpuri on the Yellow Line – have been designed in such a way that it will be able to take the load of two platforms catering to both Phase 3 and Phase 4.

Under Phase 4, the station will be an interchange station with the proposed R.K. Ashram-Mukundpur-Janakpuri West section which will connect with the presently operational Line 2 (Jahanagirpuri-HUDA City Centre) with Line 7 (Majlish park-Shiv Vihar) and Line 8 (Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden) which is being constructed as part of the current phase.

The station plan, construction of which is nearly 90 per cent complete, comprises the first two floors which will be used for property development. The third floor, which will be directly linked with Outer Ring Road through a foot over-bridge, will be the concourse level of the station which will have the platform level just above. On top of the station is the platform for Phase 4 which is being constructed now so as to avoid inconvenience to commuters later.
