Parts of city to face dip in water supply

May 16, 2018 01:37 am | Updated 01:37 am IST - NEW DELHI

Water supply in central and parts of south Delhi will be affected for a few days due to the decrease in supply from Haryana, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) said on Tuesday.

The DJB said the dip in raw water supply had led to reduction in production at Chandrawal and Wazirabad treatment plants, forcing it to rationalise supply. As a result, supply will be available at low pressure or for less duration in Daryaganj, Ramlila Ground, Subhash Park, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, and ITO in central Delhi, Moolchand, South Extension, Lodhi Road and Nizamuddin in south Delhi.

Connaught Place, Khan Market, Lodhi Colony, Pandara Market and Bapa Nagar will also remain affected for a few days, the DJB added.
