Partly cloudy sky with light rain likely today

Maximum and minimum temperatures to settle between 37 and 22 degrees respectively

Overnight showers not only brought down the temperatures in the city but also managed to clear pollutants that has taken the air quality to “very poor” category.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius which was four degrees below the normal and the minimum settled at 20.8 degrees Celsius, five degrees below the normal. The wet weather is likely to continue on May 15 with the MeT department forecasting a partly cloudy sky with light rain/thunder showers with lightening and gusty winds between 30-40 kmph. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle between 37 and 22 degrees respectively.

Overnight, the Safdarjung observatory received 3.3 mm rainfall while the Palam observatory recorded 8.9 mm.
