The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) on Thursday said that parking facilities at stations on the Noida-Greater Noida metro network will be available to public from March 4.

Officials said that the parking facilities will be available at Noida Sectors 51, 76, 101, 81, 137, 142, Knowledge Park-II, Pari Chowk, Alpha-I and Delta-I stations on the Aqua Line.

For four-wheelers, ₹20 will be charged for the first six hours, while for every additional two hours, a sum of ₹10 extra will be charged. The monthly rate has been fixed at ₹800, while the “maximum per day” will be ₹40, said officials.

Officials further added that the charges for two-wheelers will be “half the rates of four wheelers”.

The 30 km-long metro corridor connecting Noida and Greater Noida was thrown open for public on January 25 by Union Minister Hardeep Puri and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Passenger operations on the line started from January 26.
