The government has announced nursery-level admission for Sarvodaya Vidyalayas between March 3 and March 22. Application forms are available on the Directorate of Education website or with the school security guards.

The government said application forms of only those children who have completed three years of age as on March 31, 2018, will be considered for admission to nursery, those who have completed four years of age for KG, and those who have completed 5 years of age for Class I .

Each Sarvodaya Vidyalaya will have one/two sections of 40 students each and preference will be given to children residing within 1 km of the school.

If there is no Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in the vicinity, residents within a 3-km radius will be eligible. If there are more applicants than seats, a draw of lots will be held on March 22.
