North body organises health workshop

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation organised a workshop on ‘Tobacco free Delhi’ and ‘Prevention and Control of Vector-Borne Diseases’ at the Town Hall on Thursday. The workshop was held for nodal teachers of the corporation’s schools and Health Department staff, including Public Health Inspectors, Malaria Inspectors, field workers and domestic breeding checkers. Prevention and control of vector borne diseases, details of mosquito life cycles and prevention as well as work procedure of the malaria department were discussed. On tobacco control, legal provisions were discussed, the civic body said in a statement.
